There are e-mail messages going around about dogs being tied up outside, freezing in the wonderful climate of Ohio we have. I listened more, then, a history of bailouts and regular citizens who steal dogs only to get them out of the cold. Isn't that owners sometimes have even given account are missing their dogs. Is not that crazy? Laws suck so bad that to save an animal you must steal her!
Last night on the news showed these horses that were taken from an auction house who were horribly emaciated and abused and neglected. My father said "How can this happen" said DAD SIMPLE our laws reactive are not PROACTIVE. Even if it is known that the dog will freeze to death or it is not being fed or is abusing there is absolutely nothing anyone can do legally to help shelter. as defined in Ohio Act is anything where an animal can get elements... meaning if you tie a dog to a tree and a trash can lay on its side next to the dog and the dog can drag on the trash, then that is considered safe haven can! How ridiculous is that??
If an animal looks healthy, then as an officer of human can do nothing to prevent it. As well, unless it is emaciated, then the official guardian or human dog or the police cannot take the dog of the situation.
PISSES ME OFF! Therefore, when the dog or any animal seems wrong is so sick or as aggressive as dead of hunger bringing back to health is the most expensive and 50/50 chance the animal will survive.
